3200 Suspension Control Arms

Following on from a thread on sportsmaserati, I was wondering what are your thoughts regarding these expensive, easily worn suspension arms, what can be done to keep the car on the road?

Is there really no way to fix the play in these ball joints?

In the UK 3200s and 4200s do not command very good prices, where as mainland europe seem to have greater appreciation of the cars, I suspect that and the numbers of cars mean there will be more incentive to find a suitable solution?

Hi,
Funny, I have a pair of worn rear and front 3200gt suspension arms and hubs, and I was studying them a week ago. On paper it's a nice design with nice wishbones. But huge play in every ball joint and in the rear wheel bearing. The car parts came from had less than 100k km, it was smashed by a tree during a storm.
I was actually wondering why these parts would be so weak. I don't own 3200 gt, don't like this car because of a dramatic quality all over.

I think some of these BJ are too small. Others don't move (angulary) enough so the grease is burnt.
Some of these BJ should have been rubbers instead. Others should have greasers like on old cars (Classic Mini) so it'd be possible to re-grease them.
