New from UK

Hi,
Thought I should post in here as I recently joined the forum. I have owned my 3200GT since 2012 and despite the odd headache I still love the car. In the UK they are very underated, it is good to see that elsewhere in europe they are starting to get the appreciation they deserve.
Always loved cars and always liked Maserati's.

Hi, and welcome.
Are you also member of the UK Maserati club?
Never mind, we have a lot of foreigners that join us. The main problem is joining for an event, it can be far from you.
But at it is also a forum, I hope you will participate at your own hand, for pics, technical advices/research, and anything else.
And hoping 2021 will be far more better than 2020....
Cheers
Pierre

Thanks for the welcome!
Events would obviously be an issue although at the current time I guess it would be difficult for everyone, for me I liked the look of the forum as a resource for information from other owners / experts. Obviously it would be good to be able to attend a / some events at some point in the future.
Yes a member of the Maserati Club UK and also registered on sports maserati forum although that doesnt seem as active / useful as it possibly should be.
Lets hope 2021 and following years are better for everyone!

The plate was on the car when i bought it and although I would not have chossen it, I decided to leave it on.
8HPS is supposed to look a bit like BHP's - a bit sad really.

Hi LDM68.
Nice 3200gt you have there, welcome !
We were lucky enough to have participants from UK at the 3200 anniversaries, and if I'm not mistaken, there are frequents "raids" to France/Spain/Italy from UK maseratisti, so it should not be a problem.
Maybe you are less afraid to munch miles with your cars than some of us.
And who knows, maybe one day we'll organise a small event across the channel, it's quite easy with the Eurotunnel shuttle.

Thanks, I did see that a few from the UK joined in on the 3200 anniversaries and enjoyed it!
For me the cars are to be used (when possible) and are for my pleasure so do not worry too much about adding miles to the clock, I have not taken the 3200 over the channel yet but hope I get the chance at some point, I have taken my Capri a few times including a trip to Spa-Francorchamps and the Nurburgring a couple of years back, great fun on both the journey and tracks.

Could you give us a first name?, even if we all have pseudos/nicknames on the forum, calling you LDM is a bit
impersonal...
For coming on the continent, there will be Le Mans Classic (unless, we hope it will take place...) first W-E of July.
And with a Maseratitude dedicated parking. A lot of british fellows attend the event, and some friends of mine,
with big beasts from Sant'Agata...
Let's hope....
